President of the Austin Travis County EMS Employees Association/Nurse: Selena Xie
Selena Xie is the President of the Austin Travis County EMS Employees Association, as well as a paramedic and intensive care nurse. Selena moved to Austin for an Americorps VISTA position at Texas Impact tracking disaster relief bills after Hurricane Harvey. She continued to work at Texas Impact on a suite of bills regulating the payday lending industry and with a coalition of organizations fighting for good food policy.
